Christmas Picture Discount....

Can you believe we are halfway through October? Things are busy with lots of Christmas pictures and now is the time. If you want to get Christmas pictures taken and get cards, go ahead and get your appointment scheduled as things are only getting busier. If you schedule your appointment before October 31st I will give you 1/2 off your sitting fee and 20% of your card and picture order. Just for fun, here are a few Christmas pictures from the past. Pumpkin Time.....

I am normally a last minute mom. Around October 29th I start telling my husband that we really need to take the kids to the pumpkin patch. Then we go, and there are about 50 pumpkins out there, which I thought was a lot, until today. I went with Kim and we headed out to the pumpkin patch for opening day.

Next thing I know, we turn in and there are literally a bazillion pumpkins. Awesome!! Anyways, I told my kids about 10 times, that first we take pictures and then we play. I guess they saw all the pumpkins and that was the end of pictures. I guess I got a few. So here are some I liked. Ohhh, the one of Austin with his fingers up is his impression of a deer.

Smiley baby + fun hat = WAY TOO CUTE

The other day I got to do little A's 2 month pictures. I found this super cute plaid hat and thought it would be adorable so we tested it out. Isn't he the cutest. He is the happiest baby ever. At only 2 months old he is very alert and smiles all the time. Even when he is a little fussy he is still smiling inbetween crying. It was too cute. I hope I captured his sweet spirit for you.

7 Months Old

So last week I had the opportunity to take L's pictures. She is 7 months old, and one of those sweet babies you just want to cuddle. Here is a preview for you Jen and I hope you love them.

Frilly, Sassy & Fun

That is what Sunday was all about. (After church of course) I went with my amazing mentor Kim (allaboutpictures.net) to do a fun shoot. For those of you who don't know Kim, here she is, hard at work...



She had me take along my camera to help out a little. We had 5 sassy girls with frilly outfits and they definatley kept us laughing the whole time!!! Lollipop, Lollipop, Oh Lolly Lolly...Lollipop

Today I decided to get some practice with the kids. It's good to keep taking pictures for fun and not just work. Keeps me motivated and coming up with ideas. Sooo, I knew I would need bribery. So, I got theses lollipops and they were excited, so I made them take the "good" pictures before we took the silly pictures. I think they turned out pretty cute!!! Enjoy!!

Happy Little Kindergartener

The night before Kindergarten started, Elise and Austin were playing with a box. Which apparently is really fun because they had been playing in it for about an hour. Then they thought it would be fun to get in the box, and knock it over by jumping. As any mother would do, I warned them. "You better stop or your going to get hurt." But who listens to mom when they are having so much fun. So, they do it again and bang, Elise slams her head into the chair and immediately starts screaming. She is okay, but we started Kindergarten with a very swollen and red eye. Poor kid!! But I still think she is cute.

I think she likes Kindergarten. On her first day, she went right in, kissed me goodbye and was meeting all her friends before I even made it out the door. She was so excited. And I think the most exciting part was the bathroom sink that is automatic. You put your hands under it and the water comes out, she thought that was something else.

This morning we walked to school, and she liked that too. She wants to ride the bus, but seriously, we live less than a mile from the school. I don't think that is necessary. She loves taking her lunch and informed me yesterday that she ate everything I put in her lunch box.....except her sandwich. hahaha In other words, she ate her chips, her cookies, her apple sauce, had her juice and was good.
